In order to obtain permission for the transportation of oversized cargo to the customer, the contractor must apply to the Road Administration, which is authorized by him and belongs to his area of ​​​​management, and issue an appropriate application letter. If the transportation of oversized cargo is carried out in several regions, then in order to obtain a permit for the transportation of oversized cargo, you must directly contact Ukravtodor, if the route does not go beyond one region, then permission can be obtained from the regional representative office of UkrAvtodor or from an established organization.

After receiving the application, the road service performs a set of works, including:

• Travel cost calculation. After the payment is indicated in the calculation, the organization conducting the survey must, within ten days, issue consent to the customers-carriers for the passage of oversized vehicles. If the total height of the vehicle that transports oversized cargo exceeds 4.5 meters, then it is necessary to additionally coordinate the route with the services responsible for the operation of electrical networks. The period of validity of the permit for oversized transportation

The issuance of a permit must indicate the period of transportation of oversized bulky goods and the number of shipments. If the company transports oversized cargo on a regular basis and on the same route, it is better to issue long-term permits. True, permission for several trips really does not exceed three months.

In case of cancellation or delay of transportation due to any reason for the breakdown of transport, weather conditions, etc., it is necessary to inform the organization that issues the permit for the transportation of oversized cargo and the traffic police, also informing that the transfer, cancellation or extension of the transportation of oversized cargo. In this case, the warning must be made before the expiration of the agreement, otherwise the transportation of cargo with oversized cargo is considered completed, and the money paid will not be returned. Upon completion of the survey, the customer was provided with an estimate of the route report. After confirming the estimate, work began on the design, coordination and obtaining permission for the selected route.
